The rush to dismantle environmental regulations that took years or even decades to put into place will undoubtedly have consequences for both people and wildlife. You cannot undo the damage from drilling, just by dismantling a derrick or removing pipes. I shudder to think how our country’s natural beauty will suffer over the course of the next four years. Just because we have not seen the bulldozers and chainsaws, does not mean they won’t be starting up soon.
